SW: What are you working on next?
WM: My 2nd book and a new screenplay "The Invisible Empire."
SW: Who are your favorite authors?
WM: Stephen King, John Steinbeck, Tom Clancy, H. G. Wells.
SW: What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
WM: To reach my goals and continue to keep fighting for my dreams.
SW: When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
WM: I spend my time assisting others in personal training and consulting independent sports entertainment companies.
SW: How do you discover the ebooks you read?
WM: Searching for new material often.
SW: Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
WM: Yes, when I was 14 I wrote a "Goonies" type story (laughing), don't really recall the title.
SW: What is your writing process?
WM: Well, I organize my thoughts on scratch paper, take a notebook pad and begin a hand written draft letting thing unfold.
SW: Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
WM: I remember reading the play "East Of Eden" and was so blown away by it, it made me not only want to become an actor but a writer as well.
SM: How do you approach cover design?
WM: I let the material I write determine the design.
SW: What are your five favorite books, and why?
WM: 5 favorite books? There are so many I enjoy I'll be writing all night giving the names and explanation of why. (laughing)
SW: What do you read for pleasure?
WM: I love Bios of famous people and motivation books.
SW: What is your e-reading device of choice?
WM: My laptop.
SW: What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
WM: Social Media has been really helpful but I am currently checking into other avenues.
SW: Describe your desk
WM: Messy. (laughing)
SW: Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
WM: Grew up on the north side of Chicago, and living in the area was a heavy influence in terms of material. People I grew up with were characters and had great stories.
SW: When did you first start writing?
WM: I starting writing and acting in 1987. I co-wrote my first screenplay in 1991.
SW: What's the story behind your latest book?
WM: Well, after returning to the states from Kuwait, I decided to sit down and write down all my experiences of online dating which morphed in to what it is now.
SW: What motivated you to become an indie author?
WM: Simply(?) I love to write and create.
SW: How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
WM: By giving me a platform in which to apply my craft.
SW: What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
WM: Creating a world beyond this one that we dwell in.
SW: What do your fans mean to you?
WM: Without the fans, I wouldn't be able to create a world for them to get lost in reading my material.
